According to the historical trajectory of the Maternal Health Nursing Department, the 1st International Meeting on Sexual and Reproductive Health will be held on October 12, 13 and 14, 2017 at ESEL – Auditorium of Artur Ravara campus, Lisbon.

This event intends to promote the reflection and discussion about diversity in Sexual and Reproductive Health in the contemporary world.

This Meeting will be an opportunity, for professionals from different areas, to share the latest scientific evidence, to reflect and debate, in a creative and interdisciplinary way, on complex issues about Sexual and Reproductive Health on the contemporary world.

 Beyond the scientific program, which will be attended by several national and international speakers, a cultural program will also be included, with interesting social and historical activities focused on health.

 Parque das Nações comprises the area where the World Exposition was held in 1998. A large public space that perfectly utilized the vast riverfront with a magnificent view over the other bank of the river, and also the Vasco da Gama Bridge (the longest in Europe, and the fifth most extensive in the world), with 17 km in length, of which 10 are over the river.

This area is considered the “ex-libris” of contemporary Lisbon. Nowadays, it’s a dynamic, lively and multifunctional space where it’s possible to combine fun, culture, leisure and work, and will host the 2018 Eurovision Song contest.
